About Us

Our team was founded by our current team lead, Ruth Mitchiner, in 2023. Ruth recognized that there was a need for a unique team that focused on service both to our clients and team members. Ruth has been passionate about real estate and teaching for most of her life and has now allowed that to blossom into a real estate team. Leg Up Realty Group was born from her background in the equestrian community as well as her ability to give her clients a leg up on the competition in the real estate market with years of negotiating and transaction experience. Our real estate group focuses on residential as well as farm and ranch real estate and services a wide range of clients in the greater Houston area. 

Ruth has a lengthy history in the equestrian and farm animal community. She started showing horses at an early age, was active showing livestock in FFA, and played collegiate polo at Texas A&M where she graduated with two bachelors degrees (Animal Science and Agricultural Science). She went on to train horses and teach riding lessons for a while (she is still actively involved in a local pony club chapter teaching) and recognized there was a need for a farm and ranch agent in our area that had knowledge of working farms. She also has extensive experience with residential properties as that represents the majority of the market in the Houston Area. Ruth became a certified mentor with eXp Realty LLC and has discovered a love for coaching real estate agents as well!

 Veronica is a family-oriented mother of two. When she's not selling real estate or spending time with her family you can find her baking, cooking, and running. She was inspired by her own home purchase to start a career in real estate after realizing how we could better support buyers through the process. As an Alvin resident of 20 years, she is focused on bringing quality real estate resources to Alvin and the surrounding areas. She is fluent in Spanish which allows her to serve a wide range of clients. Looking forward to working with you on your real estate needs!

Cuando no está vendiendo bienes raíces o pasando tiempo con su familia, puedes encontrarla horneando, cocinando y corriendo. Se inspiró en la compra de su propia casa para comenzar una carrera en bienes raíces después de darse cuenta de cómo podíamos apoyar mejor a los compradores durante el proceso. Como residente de Alvin de 20 años, se enfoca en traer recursos inmobiliarios de calidad a Alvin y las áreas circundantes. Habla español con fluidez, lo que le permite atender a una amplia gama de clientes. ¡Esperamos trabajar con usted en todas sus necesidades de bienes raíces!
